Anarchy Parlor: Horror Films Get a New Tattoo Artist

Anarchy Parlor: Horror Films Get a New Tattoo Artist

March 13, 2017

The directorial debut of Devon Downs and Kenny Gage follows the story six Americans who while on vacation in Lithuania, find themselves entering a tattoo parlor to commemorate their trip after being led there by a strange woman they meet at a night club. What they receive isn’t some new ink, but instead a hellish and torturous encounter at the hands of “The Artist” (played by Robert LaSardo of Strangeland, Waterworld, Death Race), a murderous and enigmatic torturer who is the architect of their misery.

While the central plot of the film may sound like old hat, a quick view of the trailer shows a much different added element through the addition of tattoos and tattoo related rituals without giving away too much. Coupled with the tense editing style and deliciously gory and vicious effects in the trailer, Anarchy Parlor seems at least worthy of a viewing (much to the dismay of tourism in Eastern Europe). Anarchy Parlor is due out for released on June 19th through the independent film distributor Gravitas Ventures. What are your thoughts and expectations after viewing the trailer?
