Since the start of his tattoo career, almost eight years ago, Vince has been a full speed ahead kind on guy. Whether he was drawing, painting or tattooing he was and is constantly immersed in art.
“Itʼs important for me to incorporate various art media into my life, and this year I would like to make time for more. I really enjoy oils, acrylic and charcoal and would really love to explore watercolors more,” says Vince.
Vince was very young when he discovered his love for art. He began drawing at a very young age and his interest in tattoos piqued in his early teenage years. Vince admired the amazing displays of tattoo art and was determined to get a tattoo of his own someday.
“My cousin and I both got our first tattoo together, it is a spade on my shoulder blade. It is nearly twenty years old and holds a lot of memory,” says Vince. “I knew I wanted to tattoo someday and when I was 27 years-old I sought out an apprenticeship and made it happen. I couldnʼt imagine doing anything else today.
His love for art and drawing is rather evident in his tattooing style. His smooth vibrant colors, vast line variations, and original designs are one of a kind and can be easily identified as his own.
“I really enjoy creating my tattoos from my own designs,” says Vince. “I love when a client can give me a loose idea and allow me to do my own interpretation of it; in fact that is the only way I will work. This allows me to create a piece that both of us can enjoy and it is made specifically for them. Although, I do enjoy doing portraits and various reproductions from time to time; it gives me a really good balance.”
Vince is always working harder to grow as an artist and constantly pushes himself to be the best he can be.
